Dj PhunkT has been dj-ing since the year 2002. The name initially came from him playing funky house at events, but could now only mean that he is a phunky bloke, as for the past two years funky house tunes have very rarely found their way from PhunkT's record bag to the decks. Now he plays sounds from the darker side of house. Techy-deep-electro house beats are the way to go for him.

It is difficult to determine his style exactly, as his sets could vary from smooth deep techy minimal house to a bit more funky (yet still with a little bit of electro sounding from the bottom) to pure smashing electro house. Depending on his mood, the crowd and the location. Like any other artist, he feeds off the energy of the audience and therefore the best possible way to listen to PhunkT, is live on stage, so be sure to visit the events he is playing at or book him to play at your own party.
